SLIPS
is a band.

probably an art rock band.
it’s pretty, and heavy, and sad, and funny.
a little weird at times.
but you didn’t come here to read, did you?
LISTEN TO A SAMPLE:
LISTEN TO THE FULL ALBUM:

Oh... so you did come here to read. Ok.

SLIPS is a new band from old friends Alex Bhore and Teddy Georgia. Produced and mixed by the duo, with mastering by Dave Cooley, their debut album, Drawing Lifelines On, is a collection of pop hooks fed through ungodly signal chains, with lyrics that collapse the distance between intimacy and threat. Georgia’s voice steers the ship through tenderness and menace with lines such as:

“If you stay here
I will wear your skin
like tin foil.”

Real freak shit.
The band would now like to name-drop a few projects to lend an air of legitimacy to this whole thing.
Shaped by previous work that includes co-composing music for film, as well as an immersive sound installation for Meow Wolf; a score for Halo Infinite and a role as the drummer in This Will Destroy You (Bhore); and touring as bassist and vocalist with Death Valley Girls and Pearl Earl (Georgia), both artists bring the kind of signature intuition that only arises from breaking and building sound.
